Ayesha Omar is a Pakistani painter by profession, occasionally indulging in acting, modeling and other performing arts like singing. Over a period of just a few years Ayesha is regarded as one of the most well-known television personalities in Pakistan.

Biography

Born on October 12, 1981, Ayesha graduated from the prestigious National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan where she mastered the art of painting fine art. Brought up by her mother, a single parent, she would always attribute this fact with her headstrong behavior. She was always fond of performing arts and secretly had shared with friends her desire to sing which none took seriously until she decided she needs to take her career into the popular music culture of Pakistan. With her hopes high and luck stringing low, she took her lessons in classical singing to a test. She started performing with underground rock bands including Mind Riot and The Cell, and with the NCA music society later in her life. She acquired fame with two of her hit singles, Aao and Koi To Ho.

Since her early days at school, Ayesha had been keen in theater and charity work. She was a president at her arts school and managed theater productions along with doing costumes and conceptual creative work. She would dedicate her summers at the Rising Sun School for special children. At the tender age of eight, she started hosting a show with Muneeza Hashmi called Meray Bachpan Kay Din in which she would interview celebrities about their early days.

However, it was her break in the light teen comedy College Jeans that prompted her career in television. The show was directed by another NCA graduate Jawad Bashir and cast her alongside Ali Zafar and other prominent TV personalities. Soon after she was invited to host a show called Rhythm for Prime TV where she interviewed musicians from all over Pakistan including veterans like Arif Lohar and Shazia Manzoor.

She would even act with Nautanki, NCA’s drama group, even before she joined the college whence she gathered that a formal training is required. The National College of Arts (NCA) provided her every other reason to indulge into any prospect of performing arts. From modeling in all of the 18 fashion shows held at the institution during her tenure there. to performing in seven plays with Lahore’s amateur theater groups, she groped for every other opportunity that came her way.

Controversies

In 2003, a set of paintings that Ayesha created for her final NCA thesis generated excitement and controversy were exhibited. The controversies surrounded her submission of two semi-nude self portraits, also a part of the exhibition. Asked, Ayesha would say that the Pakistani society has forgotten the integral preciousness of life and quoted that “the human body is the purest of all natural forms, it’s chaste, it’s innocent, but you have to see beyond the apparent to perceive the metaphysical.

Ayesha has often been accused by directors of throwing tantrums on the sets of drama serials, which she denies when asked but does accept that she will not put up with unprofessionalism and lack of respect on the set. Recently pictures of her and Maria Wasti were stolen and leaked on the Internet showing them relaxing on beaches in Thailand, wearing revealing bathing suits. Some people read a lesbian subtext into images showing the two women with their arms around each other's waists, and many criticized Ayesha for perceived immodesty.

Suneeta Marshall

(born 1982) is a Pakistani model.

Personal Life

Marshall was born in Lahore, Pakistan to a Pakistani Christian family. She is a commerce graduate from Karachi’s St Patrick’s College.�In April and May 2008, a news “Dhoom dharakka for Sunita” appeared in various newspapers. Sunita Marshall tied the knot with a co-model Hassan Ahmad. In fact, Hassan turned model & actor to work with her as he was the event manager and met Sunita at one of his shows.

Modeling Career

Marshall was introduced into the modeling world by her aunt, who runs a famous beauty salon in Lahore. She made her first appearance in a Garnier Fructis commercial. After doing a few more commercials for hair products such as Pantene, Head and Shoulders and Kuene, Suneeta disappeared from the world of television commercials.

It really was not until Marhsall worked for Bunto Kazmi, that she received true fame. Suneeta was chosen by Bunto Kazmi to model her clothes in 2000 for a Milan fashion show. For the first time Suneeta received international fame and recognition and that did wonders for her. After a little international exposure, Suneeta was brave enough to muster up the strength and submit her portfolio directly to fashion designers such as Dior and Gucci. Suneeta landed the job with Dior right away but it was not until a little while that Suneeta started working for Gucci as well. Suneeta opened Dior's show in Karachi and then in Dubai, London, Paris and Moscow.

Suneeta Marshall's fame was further increased when she decided to star in Abaraul Haq's music video Preeto (Pretty). After her first success Suneeta decided to star in the music video for the Shehzad Roy song "Jana". Suneeta also decided to try her hand at acting and started off by doing a television movie called Tere Bina (without you) in which she played a young spoiled girl who elopes with her boyfriend and then later learns about the responsibilities of marriage. After that Suneeta Marshall got to play the lead in the very successful television drama Malika in which she plays a Fashion Model/Actress who gets ahead of her friend in show business.

Marshall has worked with countless famous Pakistani designers and has had contracts with many big companies such as LUX, Revlon, Jazz, Mobilink, and Sunsilk. Reema was born on October 27, 1971, is a Pakistani film actress and has worked in more than 200 films.


Start
During the start of her career, she was known as Reema, but later on she was known also as Reema Khan. In 2005, she introduced herself as a producer and director with the film Koi Tujh Sa Kahan.


She debuted as an actress in the film Bulandi, directed by Mohammad Javed Fazil in 1990, opposite Shaan. At the time of her debut in Bulandi, it was the reign of Anjuman, Neeli, Nadra and Shahida Minni. The great success of Javed Fazal’s Bulandi not only helped Reema to stick in Lollywood but also gave a durable pair of Reema and Shaan to Lollywood.


Reema’s early films with Shaan, such as, Zherilay, Ishq, Naag Devta, Pyar Hi Pyar, Sailab, Dil, Aag, Shama and Sahiba inspired Pakistani film viewers due to her acting. However, the real period of her success started from 1993, when she got hit films with Shaan, such as Hina, Anjuman, Chakuri, Chandni, Neelam and Insaniat.


When she appeared with Mohsin Khan in director Shameem Ara’s film Hathi Meray Sathi, it was a huge success. However, Reema’s acting talent prominently appeared in the film of director Altaf Hussain’s Rani Beti Raj Karegi. Where Reema proved herself a good actress in Hathi Meray Sathi, there she proved herself a good dancer in Rani Beti Raj Karegi as well.


In 1994, Shameem Ara produced another hit film Beta with the team of Hathi Meray Sathi (Reema, Mohsin Khan, Rambo and Sahiba). And after the success of Beta, Reema achieved the status of one of the top actresses of Lollywood.


In the very next year, Reema appeared in the film Munda Bigra Jaye with a new actor Baber Ali. The pair of Reema and Baber Ali won the hearts of Pakistani film viewers and together they gave many hit films to their fans, such as Jo Darr Gaya Woh Mar Gaya, Sarak, Love 95, Chor Machaey Shoor, Mamila Garbar Hai, Hum Tu Chaley Susral and Laghat-e-Jigar.Reema appeared in later films with Saud, Ajab Gul, Izhar Qazi and Muamar Rana as well.


Koi Tujh Sa Kahan
In 2002, two of Reema's films were released, Asif Ali Pota’s Fire and Samina’s Shararat. Both films bombed at the box office and made it more difficult for Reema to maintain her top position. And within that period when Reema announced to direct a film, critics said that her acting career has been finished. Now her first debut as a director Koi Tujh Sa Kahan has been released all over Pakistan and has been declared the most successful film of 2005. This film won the Best Film award at the Lux Style Awards 2006- Pakistan. She also won award for the best actress and Director for the same film. In 2006 only one film released starring Reema and that was One Two Ka One. Directed by famous musician and director Ronaq Ali. It was produced by Syed Amir Raza under the banner of Red Stone Entertainment. The film's cast included Mommar Rana, Saima, Naseem Vicky, Babbu Bral, Irfan Khoosat and other stage comedians. Being a comedy film and releasing on Eid the film grabbed the attention of masses and espeacially women which made it a hit. The film did well and recovered its budget with some profit. In a recent interview Reema said that the scripting of her next film has been completed and in July through a press conference she will be announcing the name of the film. The script has been written by Wasi Shah. Rumors are flying here and there that Reema has named her film Koi Merey Dil Sey Poochey.
